Ichnology.ca is website created by the ichnology group at Memorial University. We are an international group, including teachers, students and postdoctoral fellows. Our aim is to create a website to promote the use of ichnology, trace fossils, and ichnofabrics to fellow professionals, and geologists in other disciplines.  We will provide a hub for information and resources relating to trace fossils and their application to pure academic and applied industry problems.

MUN_LogoOur applied studies are grouped under the RIFF project (Reservoir Ichnology: Friendly ichnoFossils).  Industry funding, and strategic focussing are central to our aims.  Industry members can gain access to state-of-the-art knowledge and databases by subsccribing to the RIFF Joint Industry Funded Project (JIF)

We are interested in ichnological opportunities, collaborations and projects of all kinds.  Please do join us in our venture/adventure to develop the field of ichnology though knowledge sharing anc collaboration. If you would like to become a friend of ichnology and get involved through this website, then please contact us and/or register on our website in order to have possibillity to comment articles or download educational material.
